A paper sleeve is essentially a white envelope to hold the CD with a clear window on one side and a flap that tucks into the other side

A jewel case, often referred to as a CD case, is a hinged, clear-plastic case, slightly larger than a standard disk (Dimensions: 5 1/4"W x 4 7/8" H)

DVD cases are the most common type of DVD packaging. The case is made of a softer, less brittle plastic than jewel cases (Dimensions: 5 3/8"W x 7 1/2"H)

A board-stock sleeve is a lightweight, environmentally friendly alternative to plastic cases. They are similar in size to a sleeve or jewel case, but share features of vinyl record cases. It joins on three sides as a "pocket" for the disk.

A board-stock wallet is a sturdy board booklet that opens to reveal a disk pocket inside. Wallets offer more print space than sleeves, 4 pages rather than 2 (front, back, inside left & inside right, rather than front and back). Like the board-stock sleeves, the wallets are made of 100% recyclable sturdy board.
